6th Festival of Lyrical Installations

The Festival of Lyrical Installations is a multidimensional and international artistic event addressed to all lovers of a broadly defined culture. The aim of the project is to introduce art into everyday life thereby denying the view that art is a hermetic field and that a piece of art is a context-free and autonomous object. The Festival involves the review and promotion of interdisciplinary art connected with original shaping of the space including the correspondence between a word and other subjects such as a painting, a sound, a sculpture, a building or a place.

6^th Festival of Lyrical Installations will take place on the 13^th, 14^th and 15^th August 2010 on the Sobieszewo Island.

As a part of the Golem Project, a completely unique and exclusive collective exhibition of drawing will take place with the participation of Christopher Elliot, Andrzej Piecha, Hanna Chroboczek, Barbara Kłosińska-Gembarzewski, Marek Chełminiak, Linas Domarackas, Yannick Leider and Tatiana Samoylova with her collages.

We would also like to invite you to the concert titled ‘G vs. G – Marek Grechuta’s songs vs. Anna German’s songs’ performed by the AQuartet. In the church in Świbno, the Gospel Mass will be performed by a thirty-person choir of the graduates of the Academy of Music under the baton of Weronika Korthals-Tartas. The Gospel Mass is a diploma project awarded with distinction, created in the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. Barbara Piórkowska will present a provocative poetic show. There will also be a performance for the youngest audience.
